Having partnered with ABS for this critical revamp, XIMNET reimagined their website with a forward-thinking approach, focusing on seamless navigation, AI-driven search capabilities, and automated backend integration. This transformation not only positions ABS as a modern, technology-driven organisation but also ensures its digital touchpoints align with its mission to empower the banking and financial community.

Dignity for Children Foundation - Dignity for Children Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 1998 to provide holistic care and education for urban poor children in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Asian Banking School (ABS) is a leading educational institution in Malaysia that offers a wide range of professional development programmes tailored for the banking and financial services sector. Established with a vision to elevate the capabilities of financial professionals, ABS provides both short courses and comprehensive certifications, empowering individuals to excel in the ever-evolving financial industry.

As part of the Asian Institute of Finance (AIF), ABS collaborates with global experts, regulatory bodies, and academic institutions to ensure its curriculum is aligned with industry needs and the latest financial trends. The school’s mission is to deliver world-class training that equips professionals with practical knowledge, fostering a more skilled and innovative workforce for the future of banking.
challenges
One of the primary challenges in developing the new Asian Banking School website was managing the large number of diverse programmes offered. With a broad range of courses catering to professionals at different stages of their careers, organising and presenting this content in a way that was both clear and easily navigable posed a significant hurdle.

Another challenge was the lack of content standardisation across the various programmes. The previous website featured different formats, styles, and layouts for different courses, which made it difficult to create a consistent user experience. Ensuring that each programme was presented in a way that was visually cohesive while still highlighting its unique features required careful planning and execution.
our approach

We focused on developing a clear, well-structured content framework for the range of programmes in a user-friendly way. To organise the information without overwhelming visitors. The website’s architecture was designed to make it easy for users to find relevant programmes, ensuring the experience was both intuitive and informative.

A modular design approach with standardised templates was implemented for the content standardisaiton. To provide consistency across the site but also improved user navigation with a cohesive and predictable layout for all programmes.

Lastly, we implemented smart AI to personalise the user experience. With AI automation, the website dynamically adapts to meet the needs of individual users, enhancing the overall customer journey by delivering tailored content and recommendations.

The Work

Research
Our research began with an in-depth analysis of competitors’ websites to identify best practices and uncover opportunities for differentiation. This exploration provided valuable insights into how leading educational institutions structure their programme offerings and user journeys.

We then focused on clarifying and streamlining the website’s content architecture. By designing an intuitive structure, we ensured the website could effectively bridge the gap between programme creation and the registration process, much of which occurs in ABS’ existing backend systems. This approach allowed us to build a website that not only enhances the user experience but also integrates seamlessly with the organisation’s operational workflows.

Design Concept
The design concept for the Asian Banking School (ABS) website strikes a balance between visually impactful elements and streamlined, essential content. By seamlessly integrating AI technologies, the site delivers an innovative, forward-thinking experience that aligns with ABS’ reputation as a leader in banking education.

Visually, the website employs geometric iconography, including circles and overlays, paired with a sophisticated blue and gold colour scheme. This combination creates a modern, professional aesthetic that reflects the innovation and excellence ABS stands for in the financial sector.

The new website also integrates AI-driven solutions to enhance user experience and operational efficiency. Programme availability is now automated, with regular synchronisation between the website and ABS’ programme management system. Additionally, the programme booking flow is automated, enabling seamless submission of data and payments directly to ABS’ backend systems. This ensures a smooth, frictionless experience for both users and the operations team.
AI-Powered Search

To enhance the website’s functionality, we introduced an advanced AI-driven content search system that consolidates information directly from the website.
The AI search makes fact-finding effortless by providing accurate answers supported by guardrails to minimise errors. Users can explore further with links to source materials and follow-up question suggestions, encouraging deeper interaction and engagement.

Additionally, the system adds value by generating insightful summaries. These summaries are thoughtfully presented with meaningful layouts and selected images, offering users a comprehensive and visually appealing experience while navigating the website.
